China and Pakistan begin 7 days of joint anti-terrorism exercises in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region today.
The exercises are dubbed Friendship-2010. They involve one-hundred-and-20 members of the Chinese air force and special troops and more than 100 Pakistani special troops.
The exercises will focus on hostage rescue and destruction of terrorist camps.
Air and ground two-way joint training is another feature of Friendship-2010. Next Friday, on the last day of the operation, live fire exercises will be conducted.
