Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov is calling the current state of the Russian-US relationship "quite positive". Lavrov made the comments in Moscow during a meeting with US Jewish officials.
His assessment comes amid the developing spy affair between Russia and the US. He says Moscow was "working to strengthen" bilateral ties with America. Executive director of the American Jewish Committee, David Harris agreed with Lavrov's assessment, and gave his full support to continuing the process.
