Mailand-Taiwan Forum eyes deeper ties in green energy

The sixth Cross-Strait Economic, Trade and Cultural Forum has concluded in China's southern city of Guangzhou. Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Wu Poh-Hsiung (po-xiong), honorary chairman of the Kuomintang Party addressed the closing ceremony.

The two-day Cross-Strait forum injects new momentum into the relation between the mainland and Taiwan.

It focused on cross-Strait cooperation in green energy, energy conservation and environmental protection.

Participants agreed to further expand cross-strait cooperation in areas such as the service sector and academic circles.
