France's Prime Minister Francois Fillon is in Japan for a two-day visit.
During his stay, the Prime Minister said the crisis in Europe was not caused by a weakness in the single currency system, but rather by badly managed public finances.
Francois Fillon, France's Prime Minister, said, "Today, the Euro remains a strong currency and the Greek crisis is not a crisis of the Euro. It is a crisis of sovereign-debt, that we are in the process of resolving. We think that the present trend of the Euro corresponds to the reality of the economic situation in Europe."
