Tropical Storm Chanthu has brought heavy rainfall in parts of southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The city of Qinzhou was flooded on Saturday, causing major problems for traffic.

This is one of the main streets of Qinzhou City. The downpour has made it impossible for many vehicles to navigate the roads.

Some drivers misunderestimated the depth of the water, causing their cars to become stuck.

Larger vehicles also have to stop.

A woman employed at a local mechanic shop arrived at work to discover it had been flooded.

Her co-workers opened a manhole on the road to drain some of the water, and have been trying to help drivers with their stalled cars.

This is only one of the roads flooded. Police have been busy diverting flood water to ensure traffic can return to normality as soon as possible.
