Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has threatened to halt oil sales to the United States if his country is attacked by Colombia.
Chavez has suspended a trip to Cuba fearing a Colombian military raid aided by the US Forces as relations between the two countries continue to worsen.
Colombia accuses Venzuela of harboring FARC rebels, a charge Chavez denies. Chavez announced on Thursday that his country had broken off diplomatic relations with Colombia.
