Flooding has killed at least 29 people and left 7 missing, in Northeast China's Jilin Province.
More than 250-thousand people have also been evacuated and more than 20-thousand buildings have collapsed in the flood.
The disaster has caused direct economic losses of 1.36 billion yuan.
The National Disaster Reduction Commission and the Ministry of Civil Affairs elevated the national response level four to three, to prepare for more serious flooding in the coming days.
