Truck drivers in Greece say they will continue a protest, despite an emergency order by the government forcing them back to work.
The strike has hurt industries and tourism at the height of vacation season.
The leader of the striking union confirmed the decision on Friday. The protesters have also rejected a compromise offer to offset the financial impact of liberalizing their closed-shop profession.
Meanwhile, a government spokesman says Greece will use military trucks and navy vessels to restore fuel supplies.
