Now for a first from India, as a spa for pets has opened in the city of Bhopal, located in the central state of Madhya Pradesh.

A lack of helping hands to tend to and groom the dogs of his clients prompted Dr. Parag Pandya, a veterinarian, to open the business. The subsequent response has been overwhelming. The salon caters to all the basic grooming requirements of pets, from bathing options, to pedicure and manicure choices.

The spa also customizes specific treatments at the request of individual customers. Dr. Pandaya plans to add a hair dyeing section in the near future. He also says he would like to install a Jacuzzi, if possible. He intends to send the parlor's groomer to dog massage therapy courses, as well, since that trend is booming in Europe and America.
