Ugandan police arrest 81 terror suspects

The Ugandan police announced on Thursday that it had completed the investigations into last month' s terror attacks in the capital Kampala. Police have arrested 81 suspects.

The suspects, which includes foreigners, will soon be arraigned in courts for prosecution. The July 11th attack at a restaurant killed 77 people. Police officials say the planning of the attack was carried in Somalia by al-Qaeda and al-Shabaab, a militant group fighting the Somali government. According to the investigations, two of the three blasts were carried out by suicide bombers, while the third one was remotely detonated.
