Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran's Vice President, said, "The determination of the locations for those 10 nuclear sites is in the final stages and we hope to begin the construction of one of these sites by the end of this year or early next year."
The Vice President says the planned site is among 10 new facilities Iran approved last year as it expands the controversial nuclear programme. Iran has one large enrichment site in Natanz and a smaller one near Qom. It says it needs 20 sites to meet domestic electricity needs in the next 15 years.
