WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says the US Defense Department is interested in meeting to talk about the leaked Afghan war files.
Assange says he's been contacted by the U.S Army. Army spokesman Colonel Thomas Collins denies army lawyers are involved but suggested Assange might have meant to say the Pentagon lawyer instead. When asked to clarify, Assange says he had mis-spoken and meant the general counsel of the Pentagon.
WikiLeaks has asked the Pentagon for help in reviewing the documents to remove the names of Afghan informants from the files.
