No major epidemic outbreaks in Zhouqu

Disease prevention work continues in Zhouqu County where no major epidemic outbreaks have been reported and medical treatment is widely available in the disaster zone.

The Zhouqu Medical Health Working Group announced on Thursday that medical services are at a normal level and residents now have six clinics where they can seek free treatment.

Three vaccination centers have been set up, and more than 700 infants and small children have been inoculated. The Ministry of Health is stressing the importance of disease prevention and more than five-hundred people are at work to prevent outbreaks in the disaster zone.
