Ukraine is celebrating its National Pavilion Day at the Shanghai World Expo.

With its theme of "cities from ancient to modern times", artists from Ukraine presented their country's folk songs and age old musical instruments. Inside the pavilion, a medley of artifacts are on hand to represent the country's traditional craftsmanship. There are performances and demonstrations, including the traditional process of making ceramics, embroidery and woodcuts. Visitors can also try making colored eggs or pottery jars, which are an essential part of the country's folk art.
