A multi-national anti-terror exercise under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization or SCO will be held in Kazakhstan from September ninth to 25th.
The drill, "Peace Mission 2010," will be the seventh of its kind. More than 5000 troops from Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan will take part.
The exercise will be used to demonstrate SCO member state's determination and capacity to combat terrorism, separatism and extremism, and showcase their mutual trust and pragmatic cooperation. The mission will also showcase regional peace and stability.
