Mexican authorities and diplomats have initiated an investigation into this week's brutal slaughter in the country's northern city of San Fernando.
A total of 72 people were killed at a ranch three days ago. All are believed to be migrants who were headed to the United States.
About 15 bodies have been identified so far. The Mexican government's chief security spokesman says it appears the individuals were slain after refusing to help gangsters smuggle drugs across the border.
