Pakistani people are still suffering from floods caused by torrential rains. However, aid from Japan, Egypt and the UK has arrived in the country to help with the relief work.
Aid from Japan arrived at Multan air base on Saturday. An army official says the relief effort would start in two or three days. Meanwhile, an Egyptian army plane also arrived at the same air base, carrying medicine, food and tents.
The UK's department for International Development has also provided urgently-needed shelter for thousands of people driven from their homes in southern Pakistan.
