The Israeli-Palestinian peace talks will be hosted by US President Barack Obama.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister, said, "Tuesday I will go to Washington to start direct talks between us and the Palestinians. We insist these talks take place without preconditions and this is the way it shall be.
