The DPRK says it WILL release a South Korean fishing boat, along with the crew members detained for allegedly trespassing, in its exclusive economic zone.
According to Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency, the incident was "an intolerable infringement", upon the DPRK's sovereignty, but it's decided to send the boat, and its crew back to South Korea as humanitarian, gesture.
The DPRK's report, adds the fishermen gave assurances that they'd never repeat it again. The vessel was seized on August 8th. Three Chinese crew members were also on board the boat.
