At least 44 people are dead, after torrential rains from a tropical depression caused more than a dozen landslides across Guatemala over the weekend.
Emergency services, are continuing to search for survivors trapped in the muddy debris.
Initial efforts, were hampered by heavy rains, so authorities were forced to evacuate residents, from saturated hillsides.
22 of the dead were recovered, after two landslides hit one of the country's main highways.
The death toll is expected to rise to reach 50. Further rain, is forecast for the Central American country.
