The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has released seven crew members onboard a captured South Korean fishing boat. The release includes three Chinese, four South Koreans and the boat itself. Tuesday afternoon, the seven arrived in South Korea.
According to the DPRK, the release of the Chinese crew was based on the DPRK-China friendship and humanitarian grounds. The South Korean fishing boat "55 Daesung" and its crew were seized by the DPRK navy August 8th for allegedly trespassing into the exclusive economic zone of the DPRK.
