Q1: We know that the 10-month freeze on Israeli settlement construction in the Palestinian territory was set to expire Sunday, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he will not extend the restrictions over the settlement construction. How do you interpret Netanyahu's decision?

Q2: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has threatened to walk out of direct peace talks if Israel does not extend the restrictions on settlement construction. What do you think the affect of this will be on the direct peace talks that resumed in Washington earlier this month?
