The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Hu Jintao sent a message to Kim Jong Il, the top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Hu congratulated Kim, on his reelection as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea. Hu Jintao says he sincerely wishes General Secretary Kim and the Workers' Party of Korea to keep making new and greater achievements in leading the DPRK people to build a strong and prosperous country.
