Rousseff holds lead in Brazil election

And we just got the latest on Brazil's Elections. The country's Supreme Electoral Tribunal says Dilma Rousseff, from Brazil's ruling Workers Party, has 42 percent of the votes with around 20 percent of the ballots counted.

The partial results, which covered around 20 million voters, also showed Jose Serra, of the Social Democratic Party, won 37 percent of the vote. Marina Silva, representing the Green Party, had over 20 percent of the vote. If no candidate scores more than 50 percent of public support, the vote will go to a second-round run-off on October 31st. The final result, will be announced at 6pm local time, in the capital Brazilia.
