Venezuelan President ends trip to Iran

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has wrapped up his ninth visit to Iran, after meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad... and other high-ranking officials.

Chavez, praised his country's ties with Iran, saying they are "solid and very, VERY deep." He also said, the two counties are united in efforts to establish a "new world order," that will eliminate Western dominance, over global affairs. He said he, and Ahmadinejad would discuss "the tensions that imperialism is generating" in the Middle East, and "the unfair sanctions imposed on the people of Iran,". He was referring to UN sanctions, imposed on Iran over its REFUSAL to halt uranium enrichment. Chavez, added that Iranian and Venezuelan officials, are working on NEW co-operative accords,... though he did not give any details or say in which areas.
