Chiang Ping-Kun: Hoping for more arrangements on next year's cross strait talks

Meanwhile, besides the progress made on medical cooperation, the two sides have continued to discuss an investment protection deal, but have failed to reach agreement on the protocal.

During the meetings, the two sides has also exchanged their views on boosting trade and ecnonomy cooperations. The talks has covered issues of individual trip to Taiwan and the cross-strait Charter.

Meanwhile, during the press conference on Tuesday, Chiang Ping-kun, Chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation has expressed his hope for more arrangements on next year's talks and focuse more on the specific field.
