President Hu Jintao flew to Chicago on Thursday afternoon to continue his visit to the US. To find out more about this leg of his trip, we are joined by our correspondent Jessica Stone in Chicago.

Q1: The mayor of Chicago, Richard M. Daley, has called President Hu's visit a "very, very, very, very big deal". Can you tell us why, and what preparations the city has made?

Q2: Chicago is the only stop of President Hu's visit besides the US capital, and it is also the first time Hu has been to the Windy City. The mayor has also said Chicago hopes to become the gateway to the U.S. for Chinese enterprises and tourists. So, what efforts is Chicago making to realize the goal?
