US calls for Mubarak to follow comprehensive political reform

And World leaders react to Egypt Britain and the US have called for President Mubarak to follow a comprehensive process of political reform.

The comments were made, during a telephone conversation between British Prime Minister, David Cameron and US President Barack Obama.

Other world diplomats, have also called on Egyptian authorities, to pay greater attention to the needs of their people or risk further destabilizing the country.

Hillary Clinton, US Sectretary of State, said, "We want to see an orderly transition so that no one fills a void, that there not be a void, that there be a well thought out plan that will bring about a democratic participatory government."

William Hague, British Foreign Minister, said, "What is important here is that a new process is launched in Egypt, a process of transformation, which is what was called for in the statement we issued from the prime minister and President Sarkozy and Chancellor Merkel last night, towards a broadly based government and genuine, real and visible reform in Egypt, and free and fair elections."

Ban Ki-Moon, US Secretary General, said, "I have repeatedly being saying that for the leaders of any country including Egypt, should first of all listen attentively, more sincerely, to the voices of people. What are their genuine aspirations and what do they want? And they have a broad responsibility, first of all to provide decent jobs and good opportunities to maintain their decent living."
