Iran FM hopes further talks on Iran's disputed nuclear program

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, says he held fruitful discussions with his European Union counterpart--Catherine Ashton. He added, that he hopes this would lead to further talks, on Iran's disputed nuclear programme. Salehi said Iran has always indicated a willingness to press on talks with the five permanent UN Security Council members, PLUS Germany.

Ali Akbar Salehi, Iranian Foreign Minister, said, "We have always indicated our willingness to continue the negotiation with 5+1. We had a very fruitful meeting today with Madam Ashton, we exchanged many views and it was a very open and frank discussion that we had and I hope that the meeting today will facilitate the workflow or the upcoming meeting with 5+1."
