A suicide bomber has struck a police station in Indonesia's West Java province. The attack killed the bomber and injured 29 people.

Six of the wounded are in serious conditions, including a district police chief. The attack came during Friday prayers at a mosque in West Java. It's the first time a bomb has been detonated inside a police barracks in the country.

Members of Indonesia's anti-terrorism unit are investigating the scene, and Indonesia's President says those responsible will be brought to justice. Authorities say security at other police stations and crowded areas in the province will be strengthened to prevent similar attacks.
