Doctors and volunteers in Misrata have gathered at a local hospital to pray for an end to the bloodshed.

Hundreds of soldiers and civilians are believed to have been killed, during clashes between Gaddafi's troops and rebel forces in the city. Rebels also voiced frustration with NATO military operations, which they see as too cautious. One doctor says he hopes there will be an end to the fighting.

Mahmoud Amer, Doctor of Misrata Hospital, said, "We are looking for no more bleeding, from both sides because both are Libyans, so we should stop this war. We know that Libya is for all and we are not looking for any division, or any more fighting. We are starting here not for fighting."
