Scuffles broke out as Barcelona fans celebrate victory

European Champions League winners Barcelona went on a victory parade in the Catalan capital on Sunday, after they beat Manchester United 3-1. Thousands lined the streets cheering and celebrating their club's win of their fourth European Cup.

Festivities will be held at Camp Nou Stadium at around 9 pm local time. Earlier on Sunday, scuffles broke out around a central square in the city, after an estimated 50-thousand fans celebrated the victory.

According to local media reports, street parties turned violent before the team arrived back home, and at least 18 people were hospitalized. Police say more than 80 people were arrested after revelers attacked officers and destroyed public facilities.
