Friday marks the 90th birthday of the Communist Party of China. In different regions across the country, people are celebrating it through various activities, including songs and dances.

In the capital Beijing, the emblem of the Communist Party has been put at the center of the Tian'anmen Square with flowers around it to celebrate the 90th birthday of the party. Flower beds of varied design have also been set up along the capital's main Chang'an Avenue.

Yan'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province has been described the holy land of the revolution led by the Communist Party. There, the singing of local folk songs and special dancing performances display the optimistic spirit of the people living there.

In Northeast China's Jilin Province, over 1.2 million people have been singing a familiar revolutionary song together. The activity was attended by local residents across the province.

In Yushu county in northwest China's Qinghai province, people of different ethnic minority groups have also celebrated the party's birthday through songs. The voices are from people who were devastated by a major earthquake last year. Yushu county has now recovered from the disaster, showing an unbreakable confidence towards the future.

Zhouqu county in Gansu province is another area that experienced major natural disasters. There,members from the Communist Party and representatives from local communities joined together and performed some traditional songs, displaying their strength in the face of disasters.

In the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Kazakh ethnic people have sewn a 90-meter long traditional blanket to celebrate the party's birthday. The blanket was made by 90 Kazakh women, representing the Kazakh people's wishes for the Party.

In east China's Fujian province, college students gathered together and performed a chorus, showing their determination to build a better future for the country.
