The first herd of antelopes crossing the Qinghai-Tibetan Highway are approaching the Wubei Bridge built for wild animals. Traffic and tourists have stopped to ensure their safe passage. CCTV reporter Yin Hang witnessed the scene and filed this story.

Prof. Wu Xiaomin, Shaanxi Institute of Zoology, said, "There are many signs along the road, as well as many volunteers. When the antelopes cross the road, volunteers will ask motorists to give way to the antelopes. People here have a strong awareness of environmental protection. Drivers stop their vehicles when the volunteers ask, allowing the antelopes to cross the road."

Experts say this process will last in the future couple of days.
