Ten minutes after the deadly train clash, a young female passenger updated her mini blog in a desperate call for help. Her post was one of the first descriptions of the accident that reached the outside world. After she was rescued, she wrote on her blog of her wish to donate her blood.

Under the scorching sun in Wenzhou city, this girl is trying to find a place to donate her blood.

But the mobile blood bank had already received its quota for the day. Yang Mi won't give up though. In the end, she told the volunteers she was a passenger on that train. And they agreed to make an exception and give her an appointment with a doctor.

DOCTOR: How many hours did you sleep last night?

YANG: About two to three hours.

DOCTOR: I'm sorry but I can't accept your donation today.

YANG: It's OK. I slept during the daytime yesterday.

DOCTOR: No.

YANG: But really I'm fine.

DOCTOR: You didn't have lunch.

YANG: I did, I had some fish.

DOCTOR: Still we can't this time, you can come tomorrow, and sleep well tonight.

Yang Mi was among the first ones to use the Internet to call for help.

Yang was a bit disappointed. She really wanted to contribute to the survivors as she'd been through the same horrifying moments.

Yang Mi, passenger said "I was thinking, we have to get out. I wanted to use the power of mini blogs. But I didn't expect people online would offer help this quick. We saw armed police soon after we got out of the carriage."

She said in those enclosed train cars, there were moments of kindness, even between strangers.

Yang Mi said "People were all united, for we knew we could get out of there if we helped each other. I was so moved. "

Later, Yang Mi updated her Weibo, by saying: I thank god for giving me a second life, and I want to continue it with gratitude.
