A suicide bomber has blown himself up during prayers inside Baghdad's largest Sunni mosque killing at least 29 people and injuring 38 others. Blood-soaked quilts still lay scattered in the street outside the gates to the mosque on Monday morning following the Sunday night attack.

The building is the largest Sunni mosque in Baghdad. No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing, but suicide attacks are generally a hallmark of al-Qaida, which is dominated by Sunnis.
