Vietnamese party chief starts China visit

BEIJING, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong arrived in Beijing on Tuesday, kicking off a five-day official visit to China.

Trong paid the visit as guest of Hu Jintao, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese President.
