Wen Jiabao arrives in Russia for SCO Meeting

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has arrived in St. Petersburg Russia, to attend the tenth meeting of the Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

High-level Russian officials and the Chinese ambassador to Russia greeted the group at the airport. Talks will kick off on Monday.

The SCO, was founded in Shanghai in June 2001. The group comprises China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Over the past decade, the organization has focussed on enhancing cooperation in economy, security and culture.
