Responding to the emergency Greek cabinet meeting, Germany’s Foreign Minister,(Guido Westerwelle) says, Greece must make an effort and do its homework, as painful as it is, to deal with its debt crisis.

Guido Westerwelle, German Foreign Minister, said, "It is decisive for us that European solidarity is always attached to one’s own efforts. Greece must show these efforts, not just in theory and not just in the form of decisions. Rather, only deeds count and how they are turned into practice. I do believe that the discussions over the past few hours and days woke up a lot of people in Greece who recognised that they do not want to risk Europe and they do not want to lose Europe."
