NATO to launch official investigation

NATO forces in Afghanistan have confirmed that an official investigation will be launched into Saturday's border attack.

General Carsten Jacobson from International Security Assistance Forces said: "The focus of the investigation team will be to determine the fact of the incidents and matters that facilitate a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding the death and the injuries of the Pakistan forces. The two major border crossing points are closed for ISAF traffic and ISAF has halted putting additional convoys on the road from Karachi."
