Amateur video has emerged from Syria that's said to show supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad surrounding a convoy of Arab League observers.

Kuwait’s official news agency, KUNA reports that a group of the observers was attacked by "unknown protesters" in the northern city of La-takia on Monday. Two Kuwaiti army officers were slightly injured.

Arab League secretary general nabil al-Arabi, seen here in December 2011, has denounced
attacks on Arab observers in Syria, in which some were wounded, and said he was holding
the government in Damascus responsible for their mission.

Online footage posted by activists shows what appears to be a white Arab League vehicle swarmed by Assad supporters in La-takia, some of them dancing on top of the car.

Another video shows an Arab League vehicle, battered and with deflated tires, struggling to drive away as demonstrators surround it, shouting Assad’s nickname "Abu Ha-fez," meaning father of Ha-fez."
