Iran’s official IRNA news agency reports that inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency will likely visit Iran within a month.

Iran has voluntarily invited IAEA inspectors and the deputy director general to visit the country’s nuclear facilities and equipment. Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman said the invitation shows Iran’s "transparent" nuclear activities and goodwill in its commitments, and that the country is serious about keeping its "legal nuclear rights."

Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi said early this month that Iran is ready to resume nuclear talks with the 5 permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany.

Nuclear talks a year ago between Iran and those nations in Istanbul failed to reach any agreement as Tehran rejected any notion of suspending uranium enrichment in exchange for trade and technology benefits.
