An Egyptian-brokered truce between Israel and Gaza militants is looking shaky as cross-border attacks continue.

The Israeli air force targeted two "terror activity" sites in the Hamas-run enclave Wednesday night. No casualties were reported but a plastics factory in central Gaza burned down. This came after Palestinian militants launched rockets into the southern Israeli town of Netivot the previous day, causing damage but no serious casualties.

The truce between Israel and militant groups in the Gaza Strip was largely observed on Tuesday, after four days of cross-border violence in which 25 Palestinians were killed and 200 rockets were fired at Israel.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested that Israel would refrain from any further strikes against Palestinian militants unless they were attacked. And Israel would respond to any attempt that violates the truce.

Benjamin Netanyahu said, "Our message is clear - quiet will bring quiet. Anyone who violates it or even tries to violate it, our guns will find him."
