Large parts of China have been seeing a lot of heavy rain and snow, disrupting transportation and causing extensive property damage.

Southwestern Qinghai province has been engulfed in a snow storm, leaving roads blocked in many villages. More snow is expected there in the next three days.

The Xinjiang Autonomous Region has also been hit by a cold front. Many parts of the region have experienced a sharp drop in temperature, which has also brought rain and snow.

Meanwhile, a cold wave is sweeping southern China, bringing heavy rain and strong winds to Guangdong province.

The extreme weather has damaged public infrastructure, taking out roadside lights and cutting off power to some neighborhoods. The cold front is expected to last for another two days.
