Alleged body parts killer Magnotta to be extradited to Canada

The alleged body parts killer, Luka Rocco Magnotta said he would not fight extradition to Canada. He told German authorities this in a local hearing. The German authorities, Luka could be extradited to Canada as early as this week.

Lawyer in Germany said if the two countries reach an agreement, Luka will be extradite by a charter plane. Since there is no death penalty in Canada, the most severe sentence for Luka is a life sentence in jail. And if he is diagnosed of mental disorder, he will be sent to hospital for treatment. German police say, they believe what happened in the video footage is true. Canadian police announced DNA tests had confirmed that body parts mailed to political parties were the remains of Chinese student Jun Lin. They also found proof of Luka’s eating the victim.

Magnotta, a 29-year-old porn actor, who has been arrested in Berlin, is suspected of committing the murder on the night of 25th May, and dismembering the corpse.
