Greece's new coalition government has secured enough support to win a confidence vote in parliament.

It comes after the government outlined plans to speed up privatization, and push through reforms to turn around the ailing economy.

Prime Minister Antonis Samaras's 3-party coalition had been expected to easily win the vote, holding 179 deputies in the 300-seat parliament.

Ahead of the vote, Greek finance minister Yannis Stournaras held a second round of talks with EU, IMF and ECB inspectors. They've been reviewing Greece's progress on public finance reforms... their final report will influence the release of rescue loans from the EU and IMF.

On Saturday, Stournaras outlined one of the government's top priorities - the privatization of state assets - a move designed to encourage private investment.
