Relatives of injured mainland tourists arrives in Taiwan

Relatives of the injured Chinese mainland tourists have arrived in Taipei city, following an accident in which a bus overturned on a highway in northern Taiwan.

An emergency initiative has been set up to allow the relatives of the injured to travel to Taiwan as soon as possible. Accompanying them are staff from the mainland travel agency, who will be in charge of their accommodation and organizing payment for the cost of treatment.

Saturday's accident killed the local driver and injured 38 Chinese mainland tourists, four of whom are in a critical condition. This is the 11th major accident involving Chinese mainland tourists in Taiwan in four years.
