The Asian Development Bank has lowered its previous estimates for China's economic growth in its latest report. It says China's economy is expected to grow 8.2 percent this year and 8.5 percent in 2013. The figures are lower than the agency's forecasts in April of 8.5 percent and 8.7 percent.

The ADB says China has seen a fall in net exports, industrial production, and in fixed asset investment, but said government spending on health, education and big infrastructure projects should give the economy a boost. The report also says as the country moves to a more sustainable development model, growth may slow more than expected.
