The fifth China-Africa Cooperation Forum Ministerial Conference, will take place in Beijing on Thursday and Friday. Peace and security issues are expected to be high on the agenda.
Dozens of foreign ministers and officials in charge of overseas economic cooperation between member states, and the Chairperson of the African Union Commission will attend the meeting.
The conference will review follow-up actions of the Forum's Fourth Ministerial Meeting in 2009 and map out China-Africa cooperation for the next three years.
This Conference will be another important meeting of the Forum which has been hosted by China since the 2006 Beijing Summit.
