Athletics star from Botswana ready for London Olympics

The world number two in the men’s 800-meter is getting ready to fight to raise the country’s flag high at the London Olympics.

Nijel Amos, an 18-year-old track star from Botswana is the 2012 World Junior Champion in the men’s 800 meter race. During training in Wales, just a few days before the start of the Olympics, he expressed hope that would do his country proud. He added that winning a medal would be a life-changing event for him, when asked what winning a medal would mean to him.
